Albumblätter von Ignaz Moscheles
Als erfolgreicher Pianist und Komponist schrieb Ignaz Moscheles (1794–1870) im Laufe seines Lebens zahlreiche Albumblätter mit Musik, darunter auch manche unpublizierte Komposition. Im Detail besprochen werden die hier zu hörenden Musikstücke und ihre Kontexte in Kapitel 3.9 meines Buches Musik-Stammbücher. Die Aufnahmen entstanden im Juli 2017 unter Beteiligung von Studierenden der Hochschule für Musik Detmold. Am Klavier spielt Henry Roche (1945–2022), Ururenkel von Ignaz Moscheles.

Album leafs by Ignaz Moscheles
A successful pianist and composer, Ignaz Moscheles (1794–1870) wrote numerous album leafs with music throughout his life, including many an unpublished composition. The pieces of music to be heard here and their contexts are discussed in detail in chapter 3.9 of my book Musik-Stammbücher. The recordings were made in July 2017 with the participation of students from the Detmold University of Music. Henry Roche (1945–2022), great-great-grandson of Ignaz Moscheles, played the piano.
